Expert Radiologists� Interpretation to Establish Ground Truth
Since it is impractical to secure histological confirmation of ground truth, the ground truth for the study was determined by a panel of 10 expert chest radiologists. Each case was randomly assigned to 5 radiologists from the truth panel. Each expert chest radiologist interpreted a total of 100 cases. The goal of the truth panel was to validate the consolidated marks made by the radiologists and/or syngo Lung CAD in Part II. Each chest expert radiologist on the truth panel was asked to individually confirm whether the marks were true nodules, without knowing whether the marks were identified by a reader or the syngo Lung CAD device.

your version may also be used. however they are not talking about criteria, but rather the correct diagnosis. working in this field (radiology) for nearly 30 years in the USA, i have never come accross that term.
