disagree Charlesp : Actually, on second thought, "offer" is too vague. It is a literal translation of "erbjuda" - but erbjudandet implies the product (or service), and though in UK English a shop might refer to what is "on offer" in an Annual Report, not too proper.

Yes, I agree. But the askerer certainly knows what the company makes (or sells, or the service(s) it provides), and figure out to use product or service.

improve/enhance/etc. the customer offering

I think that in an annual report the type of a business term as "customer offering" would be used as it is a "bigger" concept than the products and/or services. That in my opinion is what they mean.
