A master unit is a standard MOVIFIT® MC, SC or FC with integrated communication interface and Technology function level.
Slave unit
A slave unit is a MOVIFIT® SC or FC unit without fieldbus interface, only with power section (frequency inverter or motor starter). A slave unit has four digital inputs. Communication with the higher-level system controller takes place through the master unit. The master unit transfers the data to the respective slave unit via SBus.
