In the DIN 2310 series of standards, the perpendicularity tolerance and angularity tolerance have been combined to give a single tolerance, because the individual components could not be established except at unreasonable cost, and because the aim is to determine in one and the same measurement the deviation both from perpendicularity and angularity in the thickness direction of the cut.
