Just look up "generic" (Glydendals English Danish) or www.fakepope.com/dictionary (which is Glydendals copied onto the web) and der star fælles- for this context then look up "funds" og der star "fonds" for this context then to check it I did a google search and the sentances fitted.
Normally generic has a meaning kind of like basic or the same or even plain, but when you say generic funds people usually refer to funds that can either be used for anything, have been put in by a number of sources or which can be used by anyone i.e. fælles-
