English to Polish Art/Literary Religion Philosophical

For little more than perhaps a million years out of the long, glorious evolution of life on this planet has one species, which became sapiens, regarded certain things as sacred. These things are set apart, revered, associated with veneration, with ritual, and then with the divine. We have no access to the ancient mind, but we can assume that it was fundamentally different from our own, especially with regard to language.
