Don't suppose there is a 'scientific' term for this in Polish. No one on the terraces and/or stables goes into percentile analysis of how horses finish the reace.
It's just those horses/riders who came 1st, 2nd, 3rd and other possible-prize winners. The rest are "also-rans"
