Проконсультировалась - получила ответ, что типы тестов (чтение линейное/произвольное/"бабочка") не зависят от способа передачи данных на диск/с диска (потоковый/блочный)
Так что для *funnel* остается только "бабочка" (см.описание в ответе Dimitri Todika). Других видов тестирования диска просто нет.
