Just a reminder of the context: this about a company selling their drinks wholesale to retailers of all sorts and giving them X days to pay after delivery. Not much to do with "credits" = banks giving loans.
It's also possible that giving more time to pay is done later, when the payment is due.

: given how wholesalers (no banks in this ST!) are "giving credit" to retail buyers to beat the competition in the real word [not in glossaries or dictionaries], the "exception" could very well be made at the time of making the sale

You obviously don’t understand the subject matter, nothing to do with sales terms negotiation, but possible extending of credit days and bending the rules due to special circumstances
