Rocket salad tossed in warm avocado oil
I agree that ‘rocket’ sounds much nicer and more familiar than ‘arugula’ to British ears. I may be wrong, but my understanding of the meaning here is that it isn’t the salad itself that is heated. It is “tiédie à l’huile d’avocat", i.e. the avocado oil is warm and warms the salad. It is ‘tiédie’ and not ‘tiède’. Of course, one may argue that it doesn’t matter, because the result is still a warm rocket salad. A vous de voir…

If you don't like 'rocket', you could use 'roquette' - unless you want to stick with 'arugula'. I don't like it, personally, but it may be okay for Canada. Its consonance reminds me of 'tarantula', for some strange reason :-)

"Tiédie" is "warmed". There are many dishes/recipes with warmed arugula.
I would strongly advise against the use of "rocket" for a North American audience. It would not be understood. It is strictly used in the UK and the rest of Europe. "Arugula" is the correct term for a NA audience.
