French term or phrase:
Bloc contact \"F\"
English translation:
C contact block

Bloc de manette + Bloc contact "O"
Bloc contact "O"
"bloc contact" will be "contact block" - that's for sure, manufacturer numbers match, but I wonder about the F and the O: open and closed? O and C?

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

: But Asker's question concerns 'F', I think it is risky to assume that 'F' in fact = 'NO' / Yes, just as in EN: 'a close contact'. Still, it's dangerous to assume this until we have confirmation from the client.

Tony, I attended discussions on contactors/cam switches/aux. switches also with French specialists. They say à fermeture (F) rather than than normalement ouvert (NO). But the asker has to clear this.

Note: the context does not specify whether a closed contact is "normally closed" or "currently closed". I suppose that normally closed (NC) are targeted. This little incertainity explains why I did not select confidence level 5, even though I am electrical engineer with 40 years practice.

The term "24V DC 2OF" is only found under ebay for the Entrelec relay RB122. It looks being a changeover contact (combined open and closed contact, e.g. toggles between two sides.

Discussion
Sadly, though, this doesn't quite resolve the question of just which way round the O and F are; there is certainly a degree of logic to the view that if it is an 'O' (ouvert = open) contact, then when it operates, it must make, i.e. implying that it is NO; but the opposite logic, as advocated by some people here, is by no means impossible either. Keep hunting! Don't you have a diagram anywhere?
