domaine de validité

Environment & Ecology
Humanitarian aid
From an evaluation report on humanitarian aid:
Is 'sphere of validity' right in English? I can't help feeling this is not quite right and that there is a better way of putting it but it escapes me at the moment.

: I like very much the notion of "niche", thou don't know for the context...

Each approach has its own validity realm.
May be regime instead of realm?

All of these factors need to be taken into consideration.
This seems to be what they mean.

sphere of validity
I think "sphere of validity" is great.
Another possibility is:
"Each approach is valid in a specific domain/area."
Another possibility is:
"Each approach is valid in a specific domain/area."

each approach is valid, depending on the circumstances
just trying to make it sound like English

I'm not sure but maybe it could work
