Union de Banque Suisse calls it that in English. It means the bank does all the back office stuff for the securities. Others also use the term. Since the value of the securities allows the holder to trade against their value, if the value is nill, the account is overdrawn. THis might happen if a person is using the account as a margin account and the stock they buy tanks.
