I'm translating a document regarding die casting.

This term may describe defect in die casting.
But I have no idea what it is like and
want to know corresponding English translation.
I wish I could show some clue sentence, but in the document
I'm trying to translate there is only a single phrase.

エンジン部品の金型鋳造の言葉で、不具合を示しているらしいのですが、
どのような不具合なのかも見当がつかず訳語も分かりません。
