Swedish term

funktionsansvarig

Swedish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
Generally I would translate funktionsansvariga as "Managers." These are people in a supervisory position within a company.

However it seems to me that "Manager" is a bit too general; though not necessary vague, not sufficiently precise. And to say "Responsible for the Function" is far too literal (and not appropriate).

So I am looking for any suggestions for a term that is more precise than simply "manager"

(function) team leader

If you're looking for something other than 'manager', this could easily do, especially for a smaller organisation. And instead of 'function' you put in the designation of the actual actual, as in 'Sales team leader'. This 'manager' may have other 'functions' in a smaller organisations, as well.
