In discussing UKG 2, another drug trafficking case, the same expert noted that information gathered from a type of telephone interception carried out legally in the Netherlands but not allowed in the United Kingdom provided valuable assistance in the United Kingdom prosecution, and that "the ability to disclose this material as part of the case undoubtedly contributed significantly to the guilty plea".
