Spanish to English Art/Literary General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters

I am sure that he will reach any goal he sets his mind to in any area (no me suena natural)

Mil gracias por adelantado

will do well at whatever he sets out to achieve

Or "be successful, whatever his chosen calling".

This can be expressed much more concisely in English.

goal that he sets his mind to in whichsoever arena he may choose

Yours sounds ok to me too! It's a bit wordy and cumbersome in the original.

he will respond successfully to any challenge he decides to take up

Rephrase.

--> understand the ST, set it aside, and then write something meaningful in the TL that conveys a similar level of confidence in the individual's ability:
I am sure he will respond successfully to any challenge he decides to take up.

goal that he sets for himself, in any area he wishes to develop in

this would be a case where "never use a preposition to end a sentence with" should be ignored, or applied... !
