The source text is an economic feasibility report about a Cuban business, written by Cuban authors, for European investors to read. Prices are given in CUP, CUC and "moneda total". I know what CUP and CUC are, and I've found sources defining "moneda total" in Spanish, so the meaning is not an issue, but I can't find any references to the concept in English. I'm seriously considering leaving it untranslated and adding a footnote explaining the term. Does anyone know for sure how English-speaking financiers would refer to "moneda total"?

I've found a reference where they use 'whole currency' to refer to this. My suggestions would be to use something like 'whole currency' and add a TN explaining the very complicated currency situation in Cuba.

So, Granma seems to be using "total currency." At least in this article.
CUC and CUP are convertible and non-convertible Cuban pesos.
