What war is under discussion? If it's a world war (I or II), "global political impact" would probably work best. If, on the other hand, there were, say, only 2 to 5 countries participating in the war and not the whole world, "geopolitical impact" might be a better fit.

Depending on your context. Your term is also used to describe political power struggles in Sweden -- not global. But you're context implies the war in Ukraine and impact on more than one country.
