I do not think there is any shorter way of putting it.
The explanation is that an employee's pay startsout as a gross sum, from which various deductions are made in a specific order for tax, pension, holiday pay and so on.
Holiday pay and contributions to the compulsory pension scheme are fixed percentages of the salary, usually including overtime if any.
12½% for holiday pay
This bonus, however, does not count towards holiday or pension, i.e. it will be paid out in full after deduction of tax and other dues.
On the other hand, the amounts set aside for holiday and pension will not be increased by any portion of the bonus.
