Dutch to English Social Sciences Law: Contract(s) Zin uit samenlevingsovereenkomst

Discussion

Tina Vonhof (X) Aug 1, 2017:
@Phil The urgent obligation etc. comes up in a clause in the cohabitation agreement that states, for example, that when the parties decide to split up, they will not owe each other anything over and above the division of property. The exception would be if, for example, one of the parties is seriously ill or disabled. Then the other party may have an urgent obligation etc. to help out.

agree philgoddard : Anything along these lines would do. It seems a strange thing to say in a cohabitation agreement! And I wouldn't use "urgent", which is about the amount of time available. "Important" is good.
