French term
opérations capitalistiques

Finance (general)
One of the key investment factors from a "Memorandum d’investissement" is the following:
"Une équipe dirigeante solide, ambitieuse et déterminée, avec plusieurs opérations capitalistiques réussies à son actif".
I'm not quite sure how to convey "opérations capitalistiques" in English in this context and would appreciate any suggestions.

business acquisitions / M&A deals
The team has to have made some of these (acquisitions), or they wouldn't be bragging about their prowess in doing deals. Some of the deals may have been partial acquisitions, though (without the qualifier, "acquisition" is usually understood to mean a full takeover), and some may have been disposals, too -- all of which would be 'opérations capitalistiques'.
Or, you could just say "M&A deals" and let all the deals be swept up in that broad (and somewhat vaguer) category.

rkillings
: Capital intensity is not what this is about. Think equity instead (and probably leverage as well).

Peer comment(s):
neutral |
rkillings
: Too likely to be understood to mean 'financial' (passive) as opposed to 'business' investment.

being neutral here, since we don't know what the company does (it might just invest money for all we know)
