- Couper les 13 agrafes nez de porc placées sous les rappels de garnissage en commençant par l’arrière de l’assise.

According to the description on this website (http://browse.uk-plc.net/Companies/2012_Marine__-_Specialist... : "Hog rings are those large looped staples that attach seat covers to metal frames.", so that definitely seems to fit your context!
I think hog ring is the correct term.

: I'm not sure that wide-crown staples are exactly the same thing, as on all the images I've found of them they have parallel sides, whereas on the "agrafe nez de porc" the sides slant inwards. I could be wrong, though...
