Respond to an appeal
Apeliacinio skundo nagrinėjimo tvarkos apraše nurodomas toks punktas:
I am a Respondent to an appeal. Do I have to file a skeleton argument?
Tai analogiškai galima būtų įvardinti "respond to an appeal". Kiti galimi variantai galbūt galėtų būti "to address Appellant's arguments" ar "to file a Respondent's Notice".

Note from asker:
Inga, ačiū už pasiūlymus. Nors response - kai kur tikrai vartotinas variantas, jis tinka ne visur (pvz., kai ir pats procesinis dokumentas vadinasi "response to xxx"). |

Respondent’s notice
Generally no response is required from the respondent until permission is granted. Respondents are served with certain documents before permission to appeal is granted, but the purpose of this is to ensure the respondent is informed of any landmarks in the appeal process.

Jeigu jau "generally no reposnse is required", tai galima pagrįstai manyti, kad tam tikrais atvejais "response is required", analogiškai "respond to an appeal".
