I would like a consensus for deciding on some good terminology coherent with the purpose of the text. It pertains to the assets of the company which can be used for sale to customers of for rental purposes.

Agree with Henry Clifford: If you don't copy the actual text where the terms appear, we're just guessing, there can be lots of possibilities and all of them be valid given the "non-context". I was going to suggest "entries and write-offs" because it seems to be they're are referring to the Fixed Assets Journal, but without the context it's hard to know.
