Source text - English GDP grew 8.4% in Argentina during 2003, more than any other country in the world. Economic recovery is much better than expected; however, we are still far from recovering the level we had before the default. The negotiation of the private and public debt has not been resolved yet. Due to a change in the economic model, there has been a misbalance in labor capability, and although unemployment rate will continue to be one of the highest in Latin America in the medium term, industries that are recovering their level of activity after more than ten years of standing still, are finding it almost impossible to hire qualified personnel. Some industries are resorting to hiring foreigners or even to lure back Argentines who emigrated during to the crisis.
