I am a native Dutch speaker, and I've studied English at school for six years. To develop my English even further, I have completed an English course in the United States at C2 level. 

As a translator I love to take on a challenge. I like doing projects where I can let my talents shine and provide translations and localizations of the highest quality. What I like most about translating is that it enables me to build a bridge between two parties. I can facilitate a connection between people who don't share a language but do share an interest.

The desire to built bridges is in line with my studies in Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam. During my studies I continued to improve my Dutch and English language skills until they met the academic standard. I apply my knowledge in anthropology and my knowledge of languages to my translations. In this way I am not only able to provide a flawless translation wherein the original meaning is preserved, I can also ensure that the translation fits with the cultural standard. I am excited to build more experience and I hope to do so in collaboration with you on your next project.
