Select word and move selection inside segment

Setup: Wordfast Pro 7, most recent version, iMac
Once upon a time selecting a word or sequence of words and move it inside the segment worked, on and off, ok, but sometimes it worked.
As of now and for some time now it does not work at all.
Is there any setting I overlooked or is it simply just another bug?
Anyone else with the problem?

It works just fine in the latest version (7.2) and I don't think it has ever stopped working. This could be caused by your mouse.

I have three different rodents and I have the same problem with all of them.
Maybe I do something wrong when selecting a word, waiting a second, then clicking on the selection and holding the mouse button to move the word, but as soon as I click on the word to move it, it is unselected and the word can't be moved.
It used to work in one or two of the previous versions of WFP, but it does not in the last one.
FYI, the function does work in Word and all other applications.

You were probably right, I changed the mouse and the word selection and subsequent moving works alright.
