English term

official authority

English to Slovak Bus/Financial Insurance
Again, I'd very much appreciate help from someone knowledgeable in the Slovak health insurance system.

Is this ''official authority'', as used in the original text, a central, governmental supervisory body, responsible for overseeing the health insurance system?

See below:
Insurers of State:
Health insurance revenue is recorded based on the monthly statement prepared by the **Official Authority**. The annual amount of health insurance is approved by the State budget, 1/12 of approved sum is monthly distributed to health insurance companies based on the number of state insurers.

Insurance claims:
Insurance claims results from provision of health care services by health care providers based on the contract signed. The contracts are renewed on an annual basis. The fees for services are regulated by law.

Reallocation of insurance:
The **Official Authority** performs on a monthly basis a reallocation of insurance collected by all health insurance companies in Slovakia considering the solidarity principle. The reallocation results in receivable or payable towards other insurance companies.
