Informal lunch Feb 20, 2013

A chance to meet up with fellow translators in beautiful Brittany and go for lunch, network, swap tips etc... (place TBC - Carhaix or Huelgoat? Ideas welcome!). Translating can be a lonely job, partiulary if you live in the middle of nowhere as is my case, so I'd love the opportunity to meet up with colleagues in the area. Hope to see you there! I'll book a restaurant nearer the time, depending on numbers.

Sorry, i would love to come...But 12H...It's just impossible. In the morning or after midday yes, but until 2PM it's complicated...I wish you all great time ;o) !

If it's easier on the Sunday or Saturday evening, the following weekend etc, then let's change the time and date... I picked that day at random. What would people rather? I'm pretty flexible at weekends. I'd rather as many of could make it as possible.icon_smile.gif

Hi everyone,

As I didn't recieve any confirmations, I didn't go ahead with booking this event, but I'd still really love to meet you all. Perhaps we could come up with a date and time in the coming weeks that would fit in with everyone's schedules? Spring looks to finally be arriving in Brittany... so it would be a shame to miss out on the sunshine! There's a lovely café just next to the Huelgoat forest called 'L'Autre Rive'. Does anyone know it? I think it would be a great place to ... See more
