I've been writing since I was 15 (that was 1994), several of my writings have been published at magazines such as Axolotl, Birikim and Şizofrengi.

Between 6th grade and  11th grade I have studied English grammer, spoken English, American literature, Essential German, along with mathematics and natural sciences, which were also taught in English.

I've studied Cinema TV at Dokuz Eylul University Fine Arts Faculty, I left the school and don't have a Bachelors Degree. Yet, I had an Associates Degree in Radio and TV Production prior to this.

After university, I have worked in several feature films and few TV series. In 2006 I started working with video, documented Istanbul music scene, created production documentaries for films and worked as a resident video artist in Istanbul music venue Peyote, creating live cinema and live programming shows.

I started working on translation projects in 2014. I generally work in book translation and subtitling and since 2014 I subtitled or QCed over 200 hours of video and translated more than 10 books, some of which I'm not credited. My usual fields are art, cinema, social sciences (philosophy, sociology, cultural studies), journalism, politcis and literature.
