El poeta sinuano Raúl Gómez Jattin escribe desde su hamaca. Piensa el siguiente verso y su mirada se pierde en la corriente del río Magdalena que fluye a otros tiempos: cuando el poeta estaba en el útero o cuando vio por última vez los ojos sonrientes de su madre Lola. La cámara se mueve levitando por la tierra y vuelve siempre al río donde el corte a negro marca el cambio del tiempo como si los planos fuesen recuerdos y los recuerdos tuviesen la forma de un verso. Hasta que el film termina por repetirse a sí mismo, guiándonos a una fantasmagoría donde el tiempo se hace eterno y a su vez ya se ha esfumado. En película de 16mm blanco y negro se materializa la melancolía de una madre ida y también la maternalidad del Magdalena discurriendo inmutable ante nuestros ojos.

The poet from Sinú River Raul Gómez Jattin writes from his hammock. He thinks over the next verse, and his gaze is lost in Magdalena River’s current, which flows to other times: when the poet was in the womb or when he saw for the last time the smiling eyes of his mother, Lola. The camera moves, levitating on the ground, and always returns to the river where the cut to black indicates the change of time as if the shots were memories and the memories had the shape of a verse. This until the film repeats itself, guiding us to a phantasmagoria where time becomes eternal and at the same time, it has already blurred. In a 16 mm, black and white film, the melancholy of a gone mother is materialized, and the motherhood of Magdalena River, flowing immutable before our eyes too.

Source text - English 4 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
This section will provide the description of the Radiocommunications system. Figure 1 illustrates the schematic representation of the whole Radiocommunications system architecture.
The aim of this SD is to define and describe the Radiocommunications system in order for the PHA attendees to be able to identify hazards at this preliminary stage and also consider the interfaces between sub-systems, but also elements. For this reason, in this document, we incorporate useful information for the purpose of the Radiocommunications System PHA/Sub-system PHA. However, additional detail concerning the system and its elements can be found in Technical Appendix 08-6.
As mentioned above, this document is subject to change throughout the lifetime of the project, as the design evolves and, in turn, more information becomes available.
4.1 Radio Communications
The TETRA Radio Communication network will fulfil the following functions:
► Real-time voice communication between TETRA land or mobile equipment
► Real-time voice communication from Train Intercoms
► Real-time or deferred voice communication from SAP to Trains
► Ambient noise listening (discreet) in real time from the Trains
► Data transmission from the train equipment alarms
The TETRA network will ensure management of the following types of call:
► Priority
► Emergency
► Point to point (full duplex or half duplex)
► Multicast to a group or to all TETRA equipment
► Calls in Direct Mode Operation (DMO) and manage the Trunked Mode Operation (TMO)
► Short Data Service (SDS)
► Data transmission
The TETRA network will support the following types of data:
► Operational (OT) (mission critical)
► Informative (IT) (not critical)
A TETRA Radio Communication equipment (transmitter-receiver station) will be located in each end car of the Trains where the driving consoles are located.
The TETRA communication equipment will automatically switch on and register on the network upon activation of the Train without requiring any additional action. It will be turned off in the same way upon deactivation.
4.2 Electric Power
The Radiocommunication System will be powered form Stations UPS, through a low-voltage switchboard located in the station. The power supply will provide an uninterrupted power for a minimum of 2 hours.
All radiocommunication equipment shall draw power form the power sockets installed in cabinet. The power sockets shall be capable to supply 110V-120V ac/60 Hz. Additionally, the power sockets shall be protected with a differentiated circuit breaker caliber 30mA and an electric power circuit protection adapted to the equipment to which it is connected (maximum 10 A). The power sockets will have redundant feeds including two independent routes for power supply cabling.

Esta sección proporcionará la descripción del sistema de Radiocomunicaciones. La Figura 1 ilustra la representación esquemática de toda la arquitectura del sistema de Radiocomunicaciones.
El objetivo de esta DS es definir y describir el sistema de Radiocomunicaciones para que los asistentes de APA puedan identificar las amenazas en esta etapa preliminar y también considerar las interfaces entre los subsistemas, pero también entre los elementos. Por esta razón, en este documento, incorporamos información útil para el propósito del Sistema de Radiocomunicaciones APA/Subsistema APA. Como se mencionó anteriormente, este documento está sujeto a cambios a lo largo de la vida del proyecto, a medida que el diseño evoluciona y, a su vez, se dispone de más información.
4.1 Radiocomunicaciones
La red de Radiocomunicación TETRA cumplirá las siguientes funciones:
► Comunicación de voz en tiempo real entre los equipos TETRA terrestres o móviles
► Comunicación de voz en tiempo real desde los intercomunicadores de los Trenes
► Comunicación de voz en tiempo real o diferida de SAP a los Trenes
► Escucha del ruido ambiental (discreta) en tiempo real desde los Trenes
► Transmisión de datos desde las alarmas del equipo del tren
La red TETRA garantizará la gestión de los siguientes tipos de llamadas:
► Prioridad
► Emergencia
► Punto a punto (dúplex completo o semidúplex)
► Multidifusión a un grupo o a todos los equipos de TETRA
► Llama a la Operación en Modo Directo OMD (DMO - Direct Mode Operation) y gestiona la Operación en Modo Truncado (TMO - Trunked Mode Operation)
► Servicio de Datos Cortos SDC (SDS - Short Data Service)
► Transmisión de datos
La red TETRA admitirá los siguientes tipos de datos:
► Operacional (OT) (misión crítica)
► Informativo (IT) (no crítico)
Un equipo de radiocomunicación TETRA (estación transmisora-receptora) se ubicará en cada vagón final de los Trenes donde se encuentran las consolas de conducción.
El equipo de comunicación TETRA se encenderá automáticamente y se registrará en la red al activar el Tren sin requerir ninguna acción adicional. Se apagará de la misma manera al desactivarlo.
4.2 Energía Eléctrica
El Sistema de Radiocomunicaciones será alimentado desde estaciones UPS, a través de un cuadro de distribución de baja tensión ubicada en la estación. La fuente de alimentación proporcionará una energía ininterrumpida durante un mínimo de 2 horas.
Todos los equipos de radiocomunicaciones deberán extraer energía de las tomas de corriente instaladas en el gabinete. Las tomas de corriente deberán ser capaces de suministrar 110V-120V ac/60 Hz. Además, las tomas de corriente estarán protegidas con un disyuntor diferenciado de calibre 30mA y una protección del circuito de energía eléctrica adaptada al equipo al que esté conectado (máximo 10 A). Las tomas de corriente tendrán alimentaciones redundantes, incluidas dos rutas independientes para el cableado de la fuente de alimentación.

Learning a new language can be an enjoyable experience at any age. People learn new languages for many different reasons, such as travel or work, and the benefits can be incredibly worthwhile, whatever the reason.
Studying a foreign language can increase cultural knowledge and can help you feel more confident when travelling. It’s also a fact that learning a second language improves brain functionality. Studies show that people who speak more than one language have improved memory, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, enhanced concentration, ability to multitask and better listening skills.
Sounds great, right? So, now you know that it’s a good idea to learn a language, why is it important to learn English?
1. English is a global language
English is spoken at a useful level by some 1.75 billion people worldwide – that’s one in every four! Being able to speak English is not just about being able to communicate with native English speakers – if you want to speak to someone from another country then the chances are that you will both be speaking English to do this!
2. Studying English can help you get a job
English is the language of science, aviation, computers, diplomacy, and tourism. Knowing English increases your chances of getting a good job in a multinational company within your home country or of finding work abroad.
3. With English, you can study all over the world
Since English is spoken in so many different countries there are lots of schools and universities around the world that offer programmes in English. If you have a good level of academic English, there are lots of opportunities for you to find an appropriate school and course to suit your needs. In addition, many of the world’s prestigious universities are situated in English-speaking countries such as the United Kingdom, United States and Australia. To earn a position at one of these prestigious universities it is paramount to be able to read, write, speak and listen in English.
