Source text - English Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor therapy was unexpectedly associated with reduced acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in trials of patients with left ventricular dysfunction or heart failure. The Heart Outcomes Prevention Evaluation (HOPE) study showed that ramipril reduces the risk of AMI in patients with chronic atherosclerotic vascular disease and normal left ventricular function. A reduction of mortality by early therapy with ACE inhibitors in the setting of AMI has been shown in different, recent randomized trials. This study analyzes if a beneficial effect of treatment with ramipril on mortality and cardiovascular events in the setting of AMI can be found in registry data of unselected patients in clinical practice. We also examined if treatment with ramipril was associated with a better outcome than treatment with other generic ACE inhibitors.

Source text - English The safety evaluation of DRUG X is based on 601 prostate cancer patients in the DRUG X group who underwent at least 1 leukapheresis procedure in four randomized, controlled clinical trials. The control was non-activated autologous peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
Almost all (98.3%) patients in the DRUG X group and 96.0% in the control group reported an adverse event. The most common adverse events, reported in patients in the DRUG X group at a rate ≥ 15%, were chills, fatigue, fever, back pain, nausea, joint ache, and headache. In 67.4% of patients in the DRUG X group, these adverse events were mild or moderate in severity. Severe (Grade 3) and life-threatening (Grade 4) adverse events were reported in 23.6% and 4.0% of patients in the DRUG X group compared with 25.1% and 3.3% of patients in the control group. Fatal (Grade 5) adverse events were reported in 3.3% of patients in the DRUG X group compared with 3.6% of patients in the control group. The most common (≥ 2%) Grade 3-5 adverse events reported in the DRUG X group were back pain and chills.
Serious adverse events were reported in 24.0% of patients in the DRUG X group and 25.1% of patients in the control group. Serious adverse events in the DRUG X group included acute infusion reactions, cerebrovascular events, and single case reports of eosinophilia, rhabdomyolysis, myasthenia gravis, myositis, and tumor flare.
DRUG X was discontinued in 1.5% of patients in Study 1 due to adverse events. Some patients who required central venous catheters for treatment with DRUG X developed infections, including sepsis. Monitoring for infectious sequelae in patients with central venous catheters is recommended.
Each dose of DRUG X requires a standard leukapheresis procedure approximately 3 days prior to the infusion. Adverse events that were reported ≤ 1 day following a leukapheresis procedure in ≥ 5% of patients in controlled clinical trials included citrate toxicity (14.2%), oral paresthesia (12.6%), paresthesia (11.4%), and fatigue (8.3%).

You are being asked to participate in this study because you are post-menopausal and have low bone mineral density. In addition, you must not have taken any drugs that have an effect on bone metabolism within the last 6 weeks. If you have questions about whether or not you have taken these kinds of drugs, you should ask your study doctor. If you have had bisphosphonates in the past, you have gone the minimum time without taking them to participate in the study (your doctor will ask you detailed questions about your past use of these drugs to determine your eligibility). Additionally, you do not have any conditions that might affect bone metabolism such as rheumatoid arthritis, Paget’s disease, or other diseases of this type.
If you agree to be in this study, you will be one of about 7200 people who will participate in this study at about 170 clinics in the United States, Europe, Canada, South America, Central America, Mexico, and Australia.
If it is determined that you are eligible to be in this trial, you will be randomly assigned (like flipping a coin) to receive one of two treatment options. You will receive either:
1. 60 mg AMG 162 subcutaneous (under the skin) injection one time every 6 months, or;
2. a placebo (non-active substance such as a salt solution) subcutaneous (under the skin) injection one time every 6 months
AMG 162 or placebo is given as one subcutaneous (under the skin) injection. You will also be provided with calcium and vitamin D supplements which you will take every day.
You will be randomized by chance to receive study drug or placebo. Your doctor will not be able to choose which treatment you will receive.
You will have a fifty:fifty chance of receiving study drug (AMG 162).

Source text - English 1 SUMMARY
RP101 is a nucleoside analog known as (E)-5-(2-bromovinyl)-deoxyuridine (BVDU) and was originally developed as an antiviral drug and is an effective treatment against herpes zoster. Recent studies have identified RP1 01 as an effective agent in combating chemoresistance, in which tumor cells become resistant to chemotherapy. When RP101 was combined with valious chemotherapeutic agents the in vitro growth of tumor cells was inhibited to a greater extent than with the chemotherapeutic agents alone. This effect was confined in in vivo studies with tumor bearing rats. Rats given RP101 co-treatment had significantly less tumor growth than untreated control rats or rats treated with a cytotoxic drug alone. In toxicology studies, RP101 has been carefully studied in several animal species in acute and chronic studies. In murine studies using RP101 at 20-1000 mg/kg/day there was some delay in growth, an effect on maturation of spetmatocytes and a modest increase in amyloid deposition. In dogs that received 5-30 mg/kg/day RP101 (BVDU) orally for 52 weeks there was no effect on feed consumption, respiration, body temperature, or heart rate but high doses of RPl 01 (30 mg/kg/day) caused degenerative and proliferative hepatobiliary damage.
RP10 I has been studied in several early stage clinical studies in oncology. In a pilot study of 13 patients with late stage pancreatic cancer patients received 500 mg RP101 for 1 0 days each 28 day cycle with gemcitabine and cisplatin. Median survival was 447 days. This compares favorably with a median survival of 186 days for a historical control group treated with chemotherapy only.
Based on the promising results of this pilot study a dose ranging study was conducted to detem1ine the optimal dose of RPlOl to be used to treat pancreatic cancer with gemcitabine. Gemcitabine was administered at the recommended dose of 1,000 mg/m2 on days 1, 8, and 15 of each 28-day cycle and RP101 was given concomitantly in four doses/day for 4 days per each gemcitabine dose. The first dose group received 500 mg/day RPIOI and subsequent dose groups received 625, 750, 875, and 1000 mg/day for 12 days of each 28-day cycle.

Los estudios realizados recientemente han identificado al RP101 como un agente eficaz contra la quimioresistencia, en la que las células cancerígenas se vuelven resistentes a la quimioterapia. Visit Alcatraz, take a cable car, hang out on the waterfront, eat Dim Sum in Chinatown. Enjoy one of the world’s most diverse cities.
And that’s what Jack Kerouac did in ‘On the Road’, which he drafted at 29 Russell Place, Russian Hill, San Francisco. Time to follow suit and explore the coastline. First stop Santa Cruz, famous for its wooden boardwalk, the oldest beachfront amusement park on the West Coast, its surfing museum and its attraction to new age healing (truly Californian). We had the most fun with another Jack - the hound - under the Santa Cruz pier.
Up the road from Santa Cruz are the Ano Nuevo State Reserve, home to countless elephant seals and the deserted Steele Ranch. Founded in 1861, the Steele brothers developed a successful dairy operation that continued for 80 years and was the biggest cheese producer on the West Coast.

The XXX360A 5MP network camera provides up to fourteen simultaneous electronic-Pan-Tilt-Zoom (ePTZ) and Panoramic video streams which may be recorded or viewed live. Multiple ePTZ allows each user to control the camera as if it was their own unique PTZ without interference to the other users.
De-warping is provided within the camera, thus reducing the load on the Network Video Recorder (NVR) system and improving overall performance. Images can also be viewed via a standard web browser i.e no software is required.
The XXX360A has no moving parts, so no wear and tear and vastly reduced maintenance costs. The camera's full 360 degree horizontal, 180 degree vertical field of view and industry leading 5 megapixel resolution means camera count can be greatly reduced with minimal blind spots.
The XXX360A outputs the full panoramic image for recording purposes, which can be combined with an integrated recording system to provide retrospective ePTZ.
