Hi all!
I've been working for a large (and recently rather infamous) subtitling company that, several months ago, drastically reduces their rates to $1.5 dollars per minute of translation. Several days ago I got an e-mail from them offering me to work for theatrical projects at $3.2 per minute. I was wondering if there are people here who got the same or similar offer from that company, and what you think about the new offer (that still seems low).

I guess I know the company and their offer. I just said "no". Working at their rates, I can't afford buying DVDs with my own translation - they have not reduced the retail prices
