divisorias are Panels...hence steel paneling..."em" makes me think this stuff goes on the wall...
here is the explanation of the Portuguese. This is tricky because in English, marine-grade panels are re-inforced and super duper whatever. Whereas here that is Not the Case...read what this builder says:

Se a função exige mais privacidade ou mesmo sigilo, seu bom desempenho acústico pode ser otimizado por divisórias com altura piso-laje e forro independente, a fim de evitar a passagem do som por frestas. Admitem a execução de portas, janelas, tomadas etc.

O mercado oferece variedade de produtos com espessuras variando de 4,5 cm a 10 cm e altura piso-teto. 1) The Portuguese definition of the term divisoria naval says: it is made of Steel and Plywood and it is not the most expensive kind of divisoria, which by the way is Panel or panelling...
2) The description in English of the term naval or marine plywood are wrong. Naval or marine plywood is high grade very super duper stuff. Ergo, it is not divisoria naval. First, becuase divisoria is a panel and second because naval is explained by a Brazilian as Not Being High Grade..
3) I am sure Brazil has high grade marine panels or marine plywood..it is just not said: \"Naval\"
4) The comments I have made on the language could not be clearer.

Yes \'Compensado Naval\' or Marine Plywood is the most expensive kind but \'divisória naval\' is usually the least expensive kind of room dividers or the kind you would put up in a temporary job site - or one that will be moved soon - it is not usually destined for permanent office uses - unless for temporary offices like job sites etc.
Marine Plywood is the material you see on the fences around job sites in Brasil - it is usually red colored and is much more water resistant
thus is used for \'tapumes\' which will be rained on (it rains a lot in Brasil)
