Yes, it definitely is in flesh now that I have reviewed the whole thing. He claims to physically go to a casino at some point earlier in the interview.

Now if it should be "poker live" or "poker réel" I think the second one if more French.

@Laurent Yes, 'real life', but not necessarily tournaments, it can also be a live cash game.

It can be confusing because 'live cards' can mean cards that still have a chance to win the hand (that's David's latest example), or it can mean that you're playing against flesh players (like David offered before). Here it's the latter.

I have to agree with that for the moment. It is how I understand it also.
Now, how to translate that is another story :-)

Holding two cards that are not matched by an unpaired hand of another player but are not favorite to win.
For example J8 has two live cards vs AQ
AT has 1 live card vs JJ

Example: I was getting 3:1 on my money and I was pretty sure my 56 has two live cards

I think it is more about a type of card game... "live cards"

May be I'm wrong but I'd translate that way "Je joue aux jeux de cartes notamment au poker. Au vrai poker (en sous-entendant "assis à une table de poker")

disagree Cyril B. : Dsl de disagree mais le 'vrai poker' est le poker joué avec de l'argent réel, que ce soit en ligne ou 'live', par opposition à jouer avec de l'argent virtuel attribué gratuitement.

Si vous êtes totalement débutant au hold'em sous toutes ses formes, vous pouvez garder ce chapitre pour plus tard. Vous avez payé ce livre avec du bon argent _ à moi maintenant de vous montrer que vous ne l'avez pas dépensé en pure perte.
