"XXX's stated dividend policy is "to grow the dividend whilst maintaining a long-term sustainable earnings cover of approximately two times."
à long terme d'environ deux fois." (ce "two times" me pose également problème).

The dividend cover ratio shows the number of times that the current earnings cover the ordinary dividend which has been paid or is proposed

I analyse three different features of a company to judge whether its dividend can continue to rise:
1. Dividend cover: earnings cover the dividend more than twice

À la suite, on trouve l'expression "underlying earnings cover " dans la phrase "The dividend of GBp 18.8 per share in 2011 ensures underlying earnings cover of 2.1x".
