Spanish term

Inventario acumulable

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Law: Taxation & Customs
From a Mexican tax statement under the heading:
Opción de Acumulación de Inventarios

Inventario acumulable

I translated "Acumulación de Inventarios" as "Stock Pile", but I'm not sure what to do with "Inventario acumulable".

accruable inventory / taxable inventory

The word "acumulable" (accruable) in this context is used to describe amounts that taxpayers accrue (have to declare) for the purpose of determining the tax they have to pay.

From "Mexico Tax, Law and Business Briefing: 2" edited by Amanda Johnson.
The Accruable Inventories balance is then amortized based on the taxpayer's average inventory turnover for 2002 - 2004, as detailed in the attached table.

inventory subject to accumulation

It is too late in the day for me to understand how or why, but it seems that
inventory can be accumulated over several years:

agree philgoddard : Yes, or "eligible for". And I don't think its precise meaning is your problem as the translator.
