L'ancienne dénomination " anti-microsome " a été abandonnée"

Vous remarquerez aussi que sur medscape l'auteur écrit "Thyroid peroxidase (microsomal antigen): Antithyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb)"; le terme "microsomal antigen" a été remplacé par "thyroid peroxydase".

Il n'y a que deux possibilités ici: soit vous utilisez l'ancien terme (anticorps anti-microsomes thyroïdiens) que beaucoup d'auteurs, médecins ou non, utilisent encore par habitude ou par méconnaissance de l'évolution terminologique, soit vous mettez le terme actualisé (Auto-anticorps anti-thryroperoxidase), on peut bien sûr enlevé "auto".

Pour finir, vous verrez sur le medscape que ces anticorps anti-thyroperoxydases ne sont pas spécifiques à la thyroïdite auto-immune de Hashimoto et peuvent être présents chez la femme enceinte '14%) , les diabétiques du type 1 dans 40% des cas etc.
