I agree with BDF, this only serves to confirm the impression from your other questions that the EN in your source text is severely flawed!
In this sort of context, as BDF rightly says, we'd expect the EN to be either 'way' or 'channel'; although the latter may in some cases be translated as 'canal' in FR, if in doubt, 'voie' is probably a safer bet.
I think they are actually trying to say it is compatible with inputs from 8 up to 16 ways, but that's something you might need to check with your wider context and/or the customer. It looks as though they use an 8-way input for 4 or 6 ways as well, and a 16-way one for 10 or 12 ways as well.
