I think that interest is necessarily due, in the context of repayments. / You have to translate the translation unit as a whole, idiomatically. Otherwise you end up with "interest-free postponements of payment dates", actually not so awful!

neutral mrrafe : Depending on the agreement, interest may not start to accrue until the end (vs. start) of the forbearance period, Francois. So "due" is ambiguous: does it mean only accrue without a present payment obligation? Also I think "holiday" is disfavored in USA

Interest due later on? "gratuits en intérêts" seems crystal clear unless there's small print. EN US: "holiday" is used by MBNA, a US company, albeit on its UK website, also see my WSJ ref., "interest-free payment deferrals".
