The term "trim", as used herein with respect to a set point, refers to a value/amount by which the set point is changed over time. For example, if the initial value of an exemplary set point is one-hundred (100) units, the trim for the set point is five (5) units, and if the trim is applied to the set point once per time cycle tx where x>=l, the set point will be increased by five (5) units each time cycle tx, e.g., the set point will have the following values over to to ts: to=lOO units; to=lO5 units; t2=110 units; 13=115 units; t4=120 units; and ts=125 units. As will be understood, a trim may have a positive or negative value.

@ Samuël Buysschaert there is a "context" staring at you - the definition given of the intended meaning of the term as used in the present text. THAT is usually all you need.

I'm surprised you missed it - you are usually very good at searching.

HTH/Fwiw Tout dépend du système de votre contexte, mais il s'agit à mon sens, d'un (réglage) d'ajustement/de compensation/de correction de la valeur de consigne de l'oxygène.
Peut-être la nécessité de contrôler et de réguler cette valeur, dans un contexte de concentration,ou d'effets de la température ou autre... à voir avec votre contexte.

"réglage du changement du réglage de l'oxygène"

but here we can be more specific.

(not to=lOO units; not to=lO5 units; not 13=115 units; nor ts=125 units - these must be scanning errors, as indexes are printed in smaller fonts in subscript, so to a basic OCR software the index 0 [zero] would look like a lower case letter "o" and "5" printed in subscript would look like a lower case letter "s")

When you have a cyclical process and the value of a variable keeps changing from one cycle to the next for a fixed value, that value - the difference from one iteration to the next - is "the increment". You could also explain it as "la vitesse du changement du réglage de l'oxygène".
