When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

owners of the bank's stock
"*Who owns a mutual bank*?
A mutual savings bank is owned by its depositors. A mutual holding company, meanwhile, is created when a mutual company (such as a mutual savings bank or mutual insurance company) converts to a parent company. For owners of the original mutual company, it typically means exchanging mutual rights for ***stock*** ownership.

Note: "own the bank's stock" actually, to fit into your sentence nicely.
I'm surprised none of my colleagues spotted that little mistake.

: I prefer this option, because it specifically refers to the actual kind of entity/institution that the source text mentions.

bank stockholders
The full UK title of 'capital social', as every A1 student of (UK) company (US) corporate & partnership law ought to know from their grave study of Topham & Ivamy 'from my day', Gower or Butterworths, is 'Equity Share Capital'.
Prior to the Reorganization Transactions, the Bank Stockholders were collectively considered to be related parties of the Company.

social fund shareholders
In this question the proprietors or the owners of capital seem to be a section of the customers within a bank. The figures state that of the 868 000 customers at the bank, 335 000 of them are shareholders or owners of financial capital. Therefore the bank is owned on a basis of mutuality and it's cooperative.
It's about a fund within a society, which in the question, is a bank or a business company, rather than a society or a community of people or families in a city or a town.

FR:

The following reference explains that social capital is a positive product of human interaction. It also denotes positive contributions to an organization's success, respect among employees and enhanced company performance.
Both the references are relevant to the source of facts about investments and investors or shareholders in a bank or a social fund of which shareholders are active in an enterprise.

: In fact this "société" is not a bank - it's more akin to a building society (as in: "une banque coopérative ou mutualiste"). Not quite the same?

But if it issues shares/stocks to its customers then they are its shareholders/stockholders, right?
