Bonjour,
- A tilt fund is a type of mutual fund or exchange-traded fund that includes a core holding of stocks that mimic a benchmark type index, to which additional securities are added to help tilt the fund toward outperforming the market.
- A portfolio “tilt” is industry slang for an investment strategy that overweighs a particular investment style. An example would be tilting to small-cap stocks or value stocks that have historically delivered higher returns than the stock market.
Merci d'avance,

Selected
changement d'orientation/ « faire pencher »

https://www.lesaffaires.com/mes-finances/retraite/nettoyage-...
https://lejournalduninvestisseur.com/2021/11/27/comment-comp...
etc.

That's the question.

That is totally irrelevant. The core remains unchanged, different types of securities are added to help the fund (with its core of securities mimicking a benchmark) outperform its benchmark.

Répartition des placements par pondération
Bonjour,

Asker appelle le coeur 'core holding of stocks.'

: Other securities are added to the core to help the fund outperform its benchmark: "a core holding of stocks that mimic a benchmark type index, to which additional securities are added to help tilt the fund toward outperforming the market." This is clear.

Ma traduction dit 'a core holding of stocks that mimic a benchmark type index' So why do you disagree?// it is the alignment with a benchmark that creates the tilt, not the fact of adding non-core stocks..

: You're overcomplicating. Why the "tilting" is done has no bearing on the meaning of the term - whatever is the motivation it's still a "tilting".
