Flashbacks and fore-shadowing

English to Arabic Other Religion
An example of this is the metaphor that man is created in Allāh (s.w.t)’s image (referring to his character and beautiful names, as al-Ghazālī explains).
Without careful treatment, this presents problems for the ordinary Muslim reader.
Flashbacks and fore-shadowing can be particularly difficult in some languages.

فقد يكون استحضار الماضي واستشراف نُذُر المُستقبل أمرًا عسيرًا بحد ذاته في بعض اللغات.

A flashback is a vivid experience in which you relive some aspects of a traumatic event or feel as if it is happening right now.

That's why I used استحضار, to make it as if present.
