El término se empleó inicialmente como "sport of the nature" que sería un "juego de la naturaleza", pero mientras que en inglés "sport" sigue definiendo una mutación espontánea, no se puede usar en espanol "juego" para lo mismo.

agree Stephen D. Moore : Perhaps: "Una mutación espontánea en el campo se denomina un 'sport' ..." and then add a footnote if more explanation is appropriate. Teresa is right that literal translation won't work here.

yon no diría que se denomina "sport", porque esto es solo en inglés, en espanol este término no se usa. Muchas gracias por el comentario
