Me encuentro con este término en el siguiente contexto:

Para "step current" encontré "corriente escalonada", pero no sé cómo se traduciría " 3 and 5-step current input"

Aparentemente, el nivel de la iluminación en las pistas aeroportuarias se controla variando el nivel de la corriente que abastece las luces. La norma parece ser hacerlo mediante 3 o 5 niveles de corriente.
