Lo de "screen" se refiere a que no deja pasar los rayos del sol. Es decir que cuando te la pones, puedes ir a la playa y navegar en algun bote/barco por toda la costa, sin que te quemes. Podrías indicar eso de que "filtra los rayos del sol", pero quizás resulta un término muy largo. Aparte, como dicen aquí:
