French term

fiche généalogique d’écriture (FGE)

French to English Art/Literary Cinema, Film, TV, Drama contract for transfer of TV series rights
This term appears in a contract concerning the transfer of TV series rights: could it be "history/geneological factsheet"? I cannot find a translation for this term anywhere, and the French term is hard to find, it is not even on the Larousse website:

Here is some context, thank you in advance!

Il est établi au fur et à mesure de l’écriture de la Série, la fiche généalogique d’écriture (ci-après « la FGE »), conformément au Protocole et figurant en Annexe 1.

@Jenny Note that the term is "geneAlogy" and not "-Ology". ;-)

Phil, I agreed with you and I'd half-forgotten as well. We both need some Omega 3 and 6!

No bother Jenny!
Jenny Duthie (asker) Apr 30, 2021:
Yes, will close it now, thanks Phil!!!
philgoddard Apr 30, 2021:
That's depressing that I answered it only a couple of months ago and didn't remember!

Could you close the question, do you think, Jenny? Thanks!
Jenny Duthie (asker) Apr 30, 2021:
Thanks Conor and Phil My document has "fiche généalogique d’écriture" rather than "fiche généalogique de l’écriture" which is why I couldn't find it, thanks so much!

I've looked everywhere yes, I've looked everywhere for this, think I'll have to apply some lateral thinking.....
Jenny Duthie (asker) Apr 30, 2021:
thanks Phil that's helpful, Phil, I was thinking it was something listing details about the characters in the TV series! Still need a translation though.........oh, any ideas, Conor?
philgoddard Apr 30, 2021:
I searched for généalogie and généalogique in the glossary, but there was nothing there.
Conor McAuley Apr 30, 2021:
Yes, I remember that, I'm 99% sure it was FR>EN.
philgoddard Apr 30, 2021:
I'm sure we had something like this recently - perhaps it was in another language. It concerns scripts written by more than one person, and is a record of who wrote what when, to determine how the fees and royalties are split.
