At these check-in counters, bags are identified, labelled, weighed, after which the baggage are inducted to the Takeaway conveyor. The Takeaway conveyors transport the bags to the Baggage Room in Area 3 to load the bags into containers. Once it is full, the container is transported to the loading platform in Area 4 by the BHS.
The containers are designed specifically for the railway transport to the XXX Airport. This service is provided for both normal sized baggage and oversized baggage.
